Competitive Winter 25 Week 1 Camp Details

Dates:  June 9 - 12th, 2025 (Monday - Thursday)

Time:  5:00 PM - 7:00 PM

Who: Any COMPETITIVE Player (Rush/Non Rush) -  Boys and Girls U8 (2018) - U15 (2011)

Location:  Karl Nordvik Park (corner of Ardenwood Blvd and Commerce Drive, Fremont, CA)

Competitive Winter 26 Week 2 Camp Details

Dates:  Monday - Thursday, January 5, 2026 - January 8, 2026

Time:  5:00 PM - 7:00 PM

Who: Any COMPETITIVE Player (Rush/Non Rush) -  Boys and Girls U8 (2018) - U15 (2011)

Location:  Karl Nordvik Park (corner of Ardenwood Blvd and Commerce Drive, Fremont, CA)

Week 1 Objectives

  • Focus on finishing (and Goalkeeping-shot stopping)
  • Build consistent scoring habits 
  • Strengthen 1v1 attacking skills
  • Improve 2v2 combination play, spacing, and attacking coordination
  • Enhance shot accuracy and power 
  • Train attacking movement on and off the ball to create goal-scoring opportunities.
  • Promote a confident, competitive mindset in attacking play. 

Week 2 Objectives

  • Improve ball control, ball mastery under pressure 
  • Strengthen passing techniques using both feet
  • Develop precision and awareness in small-space possession games. Rondo variations 
  • Train quick decision-making in transition moments from attack to defense and defense to attack 
  • Master rondo variations to build composure, awareness, and ball movement in tight areas
  • Emphasize first touch quality to maintain possession, tempo, and rhythm 
  • Reinforce scanning habits, open body posture, and off-the-ball movement to support fluid team play

Meet The Camp Coaches!

Coach Yayo

Bachelor in Physical Education & Recreation with multiple diplomas in sports psychology and coaching development.

Head coach at Fremont Rush since 2018, currently leading the 2015B Blue, 2015B Nero 1, and 2012B Blue teams.

National A License (FMF), USSF National D License, and grassroots 4v4, 7v7, 11v11 licenses.

Former academy player with Club Atlas and UdeG FC; international track & field athlete and national medalist.

Led Mexican youth teams to 2nd place finishes at the International Disney Cup against top global competition.

Coach Cristian

Pursuing an Associate Degree in Kinesiology and a Sports Management diploma from CONMEBOL (South American Football Confederation), with additional coursework in child pedagogy and coaching.

Holder of the USSF National D License and grassroots licenses for 4v4, 7v7, 9v9, and 11v11 formats.

Former player in professional soccer academies and national youth teams in Colombia, with collegiate playing experience in both Colombia and the United States.

Head Coach at Fremont Rush since 2023, currently leading the 2016B Blue and 2013B Blue teams.
