Uniform Fee: Pre-Competitive uniforms are not included in the program fees. All players are required to purchase a new Rush Competitive Uniform Kit at the start of the season, with an approximate cost of $250 (Pre Comp) & $450 (Comp) paid directly to Capelli.

Please note: Fremont Rush follows a two-year uniform cycle, and 2025 is a new cycle year. This means that both current and new players will be required to purchase the updated uniform kit when it is released. Players will be expected to transition to the new uniform and have it fully in use by Fall 2025. • Pre Comp: 3 volunteer hours per playing season for a total of 6 hours over the course of the playing year.
  • Comp: 4 volunteer hours per playing season for a total of 8 hours over the course of the playing year.

We understand the difficulties of contributing time for some families, so we offer a buy-out option.

Opting out alleviates you from having to work in tournaments or other events. Please note failure to fulfill your volunteer requirement will result in an additional $100 being added to your final monthly payment. Payment can be made when you register.

Player Pathway

Our Competitive Program exists to allow any player, irrespective of ability, the opportunity to take their game to the height of their potential. Additional divisions within our Competitive Program give our top level players more elite playing opportunities. For our top players, their goals should include playing on their respective Rush Select Regional teams and Rush Select National teams.

For our club, our goal is to push our players to reach that "next level" by allowing our members as many opportunities within our local club and national Rush network to improve their overall game all while providing an unparalleled youth soccer experience.

COMPETITIVE F.A.Q.

  • What is competitive soccer?

Competitive soccer refers to the highest level of play, characterized by the highest level of commitment, where teams compete against other clubs in leagues and tournaments. It involves more intense training, a more significant commitment of time and effort, and a focus on player development.

  • What is the commitment level expected from players and families?

Competitive soccer requires a higher level of commitment compared to recreational leagues. Players are expected to attend practices, games, and team events regularly. Additionally, families are expected to support their child's involvement by ensuring attendance, providing transportation, and promoting a healthy lifestyle.

  • How often do teams practice and play games?

Teams practice multiple times (2-4) per week, with the frequency and duration varying depending on the age group and competitive level. Games are usually scheduled on weekends, and teams may participate in tournaments throughout the season.

  • Can my child participate in other activities while playing competitive soccer?

While we encourage multi-sport participation and a well-rounded approach to youth development, it's important to remember that competitive soccer demands a significant commitment. Prioritizing soccer and maintaining regular attendance at practices and games is essential for player development and team cohesion.

  • How are teams formed?

Teams are typically formed based on a combination of factors, including age, skill level, and player evaluations conducted during tryouts. Our club strives to create balanced and competitive teams while considering individual player development needs.

  • What are team fees?

Team fees are typically contributed by all members and are allocated to common expenses that support the whole team. These fees help cover expenses such as league registration, coaching salaries, travel for coaches, equipment, field rentals, tournament costs, and administrative fees. The total team fees are shared equally among all players.

  • What are player fees?

Player fees are individual fees paid by each player and cover expenses specific to that player, such as their own uniform, player insurance, player development programs, and any additional training or specialized coaching they may require. These fees are determined based on the specific needs and goals of the player.

  • Are there opportunities for college scholarships?

Absolutely! Fremont Rush Soccer is proud to be a part of Rush Soccer, which provides access to its college advisory program. This program is designed to support players starting from the summer of their 8th-grade year and throughout their high school journey. The Rush Soccer College Advisory Program aims to guide players and their families through the college recruitment process, providing resources, assistance, and connections to college coaches.

  • How can parents support their child's soccer journey?

Supportive and positive parental involvement is crucial for a player's success and enjoyment of the sport. Parents can attend games, offer encouragement, provide transportation, and foster a healthy balance between soccer and other aspects of their child's life.
