Fremont Rush Soccer Club is elated to announce the outstanding achievements of its teams in the recently concluded 2023 NorCal State Cup U9-U10 Bracket. A special shoutout goes to the 1st place 2016B Blue and the 2nd place 2015G Blue teams for their commendable performances in the competition.

This marked Fremont Rush's inaugural participation in the NorCal State Cup, and our teams showcased remarkable skill and determination throughout the tournament. The journey began with a rigorous group stage played across various locations in Northern California, leading to the U9 age group matches at neutral hosted sites.

Reseeded and placed into a second group stage, each U9 team demonstrated their prowess by engaging in two games on Saturday and one on Sunday. The competition then progressed to the quarterfinal & final stages on Sunday afternoon, with matches taking place Granite Regional Park in Sacramento, and Mistlin Sports Park in Ripon.

Notably, the NorCal State Cup boasted a massive participation of 660 teams, engaging in a total of 2,554 games before the grand conclusion in November. John Stoppelmann, the U9-U13 State Cup Coordinator, emphasized the importance of providing appropriate competition by reseeding after each round, ensuring a challenging yet fair playing field for all teams.

Teams emerging victorious in the quarter & finals will proceed to the semifinals back on November 11 and 12 at River Islands Sports Complex in Lathrop.
