Allyson Cardona


Officer Cardona grew up in the City of Fremont. She attended Washington High School in Fremont, California and played soccer for 11 years. In 2018 Cardona was hired by the Fremont Police Department as an Officer. She is currently assigned to the patrol division.

Roberts-July-26th-2021

Jamil Roberts:

Roberts attended Washington High School in Fremont, California (where his coach was Johnny Kinnear, brother of Dominic Kinnear) and played college soccer at Santa Clara University, where he played in 80 games and scored five goals. He was named WCC Defensive Player of the Year in 2007, and was named to the All-WCC First Team, the NSCAA All-Far West Region First Team and the College Soccer News All-American Third Team. He also played club soccer in Fremont, Pleasanton, Marin and Las Vegas.

Roberts was drafted 45th overall by FC Dallas in the 2008 MLS SuperDraft, but was traded to the San Jose Earthquakes before playing a first team game. He made his MLS debut for the Earthquakes' as a second half substitute against Los Angeles Galaxy on 14 June 2008. Roberts also coached for the San Jose Earthquakes Academy.

As a youth, Roberts played 90 minutes for the United States U-17 in wins over Brazil, Serbia and Montenegro and Northern Ireland in the elite group of the 2005 Milk Cup.

In 2012 Roberts was hired by the Fremont Police Department as an Officer, he is currently a Detective for the General Investigative Unit. Roberts has held many positions as part of his career;  Street Crimes  Unit, Special Investigations Unit, Field Training Officer, and a  also a Drug Instructor for the in-house academy. 

Troy Roberts:

Roberts attended Washington High School in Fremont, California, and played college soccer at UC Berkeley, was named All-Pac-10 his junior and senior seasons. Roberts was drafted in the first round (8th overall) in the 2005 MLS SuperDraft by Los Angeles Galaxy, he went on to play 61 games in his four years with the club, winning both the MLS Cup and the US Open Cup in 2005.

Roberts was waived by Galaxy in February 2009 and joined the Cleveland City Stars of the USL First Division in April 2009.  In March 2010, Roberts signed with the Rochester Rhinos of the USSF 2nd Division.

In 2014 Roberts was hired by the Fremont Police Department as an Officer; he is currently a Detective for the Crimes Against Persons Unit. Roberts has held many positions as part of his career; Field Training Officer, Emergency Vehicle Operations Instructor and is part of the Crowd Management, and Peer Support Teams.
